About Erica Schindewolf:
Erica Schindewolf is a licensed certified genetic counselor specialist and serves as the lead genetic counselor in the Richard Wood Jr. Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Erica currently serves as the Leadership in Education of Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Genetic Counseling Director as well as co-director of the Reproductive and Developmental Genetics Course at the University of Pennsylvania Masters of Genetic Counseling program. Erica has received the Tracy M. Gardner Excellence in genetic counseling award, the Invitae Codetalker award, Arcadia University’s 40 under 40 alumni award and contributes to the local community through leading seminars for middle and high school students interested in STEM fields. Erica is a fierce advocate for trauma informed care in the setting of caring for people in pregnancies and is committed to creating better care models in genetic counseling for these families.
